D&Y actively promotes the construction of a technological innovation system combining "production, learning and research sectors" and has successively carried out technical cooperation and established strategic cooperation relations with scientific research institutions such as the Military Supplies Institute of the General Logistics Department, Xi'an Polytechnic University, Donghua University, Tianjin Polytechnic University, Wuhan Textile University, Guangzhou Textile Research Institute, and comprehensively enhanced the independent innovation ability of the Group. China's famous textile materials experts, Academician Yiao Mu and Academician Yu Jianyong have visited the Group for several times to guide scientific research work. Cooperative projects between D&Y and major scientific research institutions include key technologies for special high-grade Chinese hemp blended yarn and fabrics production, development of high-end wool-like fabrics, trial production of highly effective flame retardant military protective clothing, and research on composite materials for industrial use.
